"THE MOST
CROOKED AND
AWRY ANCIENT
WALL
DESCRIPTION: The
"most
crooked"
wall is located
in our XII
century Abbey;
it is 25 m long
(80 ft), 1 m
large (3.3 ft)
and 14 m high
(45.4 ft). The
width is
irregular:
roughly 0.25 m
(10 inch) on
the top,
presenting a
slight
curvature from
the bottom to
the top and a
bigger, more
obvious,
bending along
the
longitudinal
axis. Amazingly
enough, the
fresco painters
were able to
draw lines that
appear to be
straight even
though traced
on the crooked
wall!"
